The first thing to do is replicate the change to the settings while Process Monitor is running. In these cases, Process Monitor can help us identify the settings in use so that we can manage them centrally. While there are sometimes Group Policy Objects and Intune settings that can help us with setting up the user interface in this way, these settings can be unsuitable or difficult to find. In end-user computing, we are often asked to make specific parts of the UI look a particular way for our users. It does require administrative rights to run.Īs a quick and straightforward example, I'm going to show how I use Process Monitor to capture the settings that drive certain parts of the Windows user interface. You simply download the executable, then copy it to your target endpoint and run it directly. This calculation is performed by the location engine, which is part of the RTLS software.Process Monitor requires no installation. The data is sent back to a server which then calculates the real time positions using a triangulation type algorithm, received signal strength ( RSSI), time difference of arrival ( TDOA), etc. These antennas exchange short distance radio signals with radio tags, themselves associated with the equipment, goods or people to be geolocated. This wireless network is created by placing radio antennas (also called anchors or beacons depending on the radio technology: UWB, BLE, WiFi, RFID…) at key points in and around an installation. In addition to this location information, it is possible to digitally exchange information directly with the users in the field, without the need for a printed document or a workstation. The manufacturing process can then be controlled from the data transmitted in real time. RTLS ( Real-Time Location System) technology allows to gain efficiency based on the automatic and continuous retrieval of the positions of objects or people that matter for the production.
